The first publication of a Facsimile of the illuminated book: Jerusalem, by William Blake, by the Trianon Press under the supervision of Arnold Fawcus and Patrick Macleod with the Illuminated pages being reproduced by Daniel Jacomet and printed on rag paper. This copy is numbered 242 of 516 total copies. Bound in custom deep blue leather with gilt spine titling, folio, unpag. Housed in matching blue cloth slipcase. This copy is custom bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London, for Sir Maxwell Stirling with his coat of arms in gilt to outer covers. The original copy of the book of Jerusalem was owned by Col. William Stirling, of whom Maxwell is a relative. (slight sunning to spine, minimal slight wear to extremities, sunning to endpaper edges, bookplate to inside cover, slight rubbing and wear to slipcase at corners). Size: Folio - between 12" - 15" Tall
